An Entirely New World Created In Astronomy By Dobsonian Telescope

Watching Sky Is A Privilege:

There are many wonderful objects in the sky that has always fascinated man since the ancient times. As you know that it was Galileo who was the main brain behind the invention of the telescope way back in the year 1609 and ever since then the life of mankind has not been the same what with the invention of this new device man has been able to study, view and calculate the different movements of the other planets in our solar system. There have been many a makers of the telescope since the making of the first telescope and of them the one that stands out is the Dobsonian telescope because it brought out a design that could benefit the masses or say for all the people in general and not only the astronomers.

Have you ever wondered what exactly astronomy is?

This is science, which deals in the studies of the skies or say about the objects that are in and outside the earth’s atmosphere. As you know there are many objects in our solar system like the moon, sun, planets etc. . . . Astronomers look at stars, galaxies, nebulas, and the radiation from black holes. Some of these objects such as the sun, stars, and moon you can see with the naked eyes but the invention of the telescope brought them much closer. The Dobsonian telescope designs allowed millions of people to become amateur astronomers.

In the year 1915 an amateur astronomer was born by the name of John Dobson.

He used the basic movement mechanics used on historical canons to create a telescope on an apparatus or equipment that was easy to assemble and take this equipment out in public and move around with it. The Dobsonian telescope design led to proliferation of telescope designs and made his name go down in the history of astronomy.

The Dobsonian telescope tried to design large aperture telescopes portable and which was reasonably priced especially for the amateur astronomer. This telescope is good to study the deep dark skies and enables the viewer to see star clusters and galaxies. Amateur astronomers can even make this design using materials they can gather themselves even though there are many companies, which sell the designs, and one of the companies that sell the design is the Obsession Telescope.

The Dobsonian telescope includes thin mirrors. Dobson used mirrors that came from ship porthole glass. Dobsonian telescopes feature a hard telescope tubes. Originally, John Dobson used tubes used in construction to make his telescopes. This was considerably cheaper than tubes specifically manufactured for telescopes. There was the square mirror box for the mirror housing. The Dobsonian telescopes use an alt-azimuth type of design to rotate the telescope. Dobsonian also was the first to introduce the open steel frame, self-cooling mirror cell.

This company i.e. the Dobsonian telescope company is known for its quality product and they have several different models of the telescope they manufacture. This company also manufactures the design the many amateur astronomers crave for their star parties and viewing.

Summary:

Galileo gave to the world the best gift and that was the first telescope which has today enabled man to search the vast skies and study the different aspects of our solar system which would have not been possible to mankind. Today there are many a telescope companies in the market which help man to solve many a mysteries of the solar system and which has also helped man to develop interest in this field of science ie astronomy. There are professional as well as amateur astronomers who have dedicated their lives for this field. The company which made telescope viewing to all the public in general was the Dobsoinan telescope company and this company is known for its quality product which has not only enabled the professional but also the amateur to buy because it is reasonably priced and this company also helps an amateur astronomer to built his or her own telescope because it sell its design to people also.
